Job duties:

• Ukraine tax accounting.
• Prepare and submit tax reports.
• Stay abreast of developments in tax laws and regulations.
• Advise company managers how to optimize tax payments while complying with the spirit and letter of the law.
• Check contracts, invoices, acts, and other company financial and legal documents for compliance with Ukraine tax law.
• Ensure correctness of accounting entries in 1C.
• Manage deputy accountants.

• Flexibility in the face of changing job requirements.
• Willing to take on new tasks, perform research as needed, and train colleagues as needed.
• Able to manage and motivate deputies.
• Team player able to work outside of finance realm with all employees.
• Detail-oriented.

Skills and knowledge:

• University diploma in accounting, finance, or business. Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in a similar role for at least 2 years, preferably managing other accountants.
• Strong spoken English and decent written English.
• Native Ukrainian and Russian language skills.
• Experience using 1C accounting software. Other accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Peachtree, QuickBooks, etc.) a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook e-mail; Internet).
• CAP-CIPA certification preferred.
