Our client, one of the leading international trading companies announced the opening of the position of Senior Tax Accountant

• University Degree in Finance/Accounting
• 3 years’ experience as Tax Manager/Tax Auditor preferably with a multinational company , Chief Accountant/Deputy Chief
• Accountant with a larger company
• Excellent knowledge of Ukrainian taxation system
• Excellent knowledge of deferred taxation
• Experience of work with tax authorities
• Strong knowledge of Local Accounting Standards
• Certificate ACCA, CAP/CIPA, CIMA would be an asset
• Analytical skills, problem-solving ability
• Good communication and organizational skills
• English (intermediate as minimum)
• Computer literacy: MS Win, MS Excel, MS Word, accounting programs(SAP R3 is a plus)

Responsibilities:

• Holds responsible for tax planning, covers Ukrainian and international taxation issues
• Maintains relationship with tax authorities
• Prepares and submits tax reports to local authorities
• Prepares reconciliation between local accounting and tax accounting
• Calculates deferred taxes: local accounting vs. tax accounting
• Coordinates work with outside tax advisors and tax auditors
• Minimizes tax burden and optimizes related procedures
• Substitutes Chief Accountant in his/her absence
